Several Injured In Fond du Lac County Motorcycle Accidents

(Friendship) It was a dangerous weekend on Fond du Lac County roadways for motorcyclists. A truck turned into the path of a motorcycle Sunday afternoon on Lakeshore Road in the Town of Friendship. A 47-year-old Fond du Lac man operating the bike was transported to St. Agnes Hospital with critical injuries. His passenger, a 37-year-old Fond du Lac-area woman, was flown to ThedaClark Regional Medical Center with serious injuries. Neither were wearing helmets. The 58-year-old Fond du Lac man driving the truck was not injured.

Several people were injured, including a young child, in an accident Saturday near Campbellsport involving three motorcycles. Authorities responded around 3pm to the Town of Osceola. A group of motorcycles was eastbound on Fond du Lac County Road F when a Sheboygan woman lost control while negotiating a curve, slid on the gravel shoulder and overturned. The 55-year-old was not wearing a helmet and suffered non-life-threatening injuries. Her nine-year-old passenger was ejected, was wearing a helmet and was treated and released from St. Agnes Hospital.

A second motorcycle, operated by a 47-year-old Saukville man, overturned while trying to avoid the crash. He was not injured but his passenger, a 54-year-old Milwaukee woman, was transported to St. Agnes with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

A 49-year-old Sheboygan man, who was not associated with the original group of bikers, lost control of his motorcycle while slowing down and overturned but was not injured.
