(Ashippun) A rural Hartford man was arrested following a pursuit with Dodge County authorities over the weekend. A sheriff’s deputy attempted a traffic stop on a speeding motorcycle on County Road O in the township of Ashippun around 3:10pm Saturday.
A short pursuit ensued which resulted in the operator, reportedly identified as Mark Lepak, abandoning the bike and fleeing on foot through Erin Hills Golf Course. The 44-year-old was eventually apprehended at the golf course.
Lepak is facing felony Fleeing charges and Operating a Motor Vehicle While Intoxicated 8th Offense. Assisting at the scene were the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, the Hartford Police Department, and the Neosho Rubicon Ashippun Police Department.
