(Juneau) A special tribute is planned to honor the memory of two long-time members of the Beaver Dam-community at the annual Swan Park Rotary Lights display this holiday season. Dodge County Sheriff Dale Schmidt, who is chair of the Rotary Lights Committee, says there will be a special display for broadcasting legend John Moser and another one for former Dodge County Board Supervisor MaryAnn Miller. The Beaver Dam Rotary donated $200 to put an angel and signage in the park in Moser’s memory.
Schmidt says he and his wife also donated $200 to put an angel for his close friend Miller as well. During a recent appearance on WBEV’s Community Comment, Schmidt says it is important to remember those whose lives and actions impacted so many. Both Moser and Miller passed away this past January.
