Ribbon Cut On $24-Million Dollar John Deere Horicon Works Expansion

(Horicon) The cutting of a green ribbon on Friday signaled the completion of the latest expansion at John Deere Horicon Works. Factory Manager Steve Johnson says the 22-thousand square foot expansion adds onto the 388-thousand square foot facility John Deere completed in 2016. The $24-million dollar expansion marks yet another significant investment by the company in Horicon. Johnson says business has grown by nearly 50-percent since 2010 and the facility needs the additional capacity to help the company continue to grow.  Video of the ribbon cutting ceremony can be found here:
