(MADISON) Marshfield Medical Center-Beaver Dam may not be the only area healthcare facility that UW Health is reportedly looking to buy.
The Wisconsin State Journal reports the Madison-based healthcare system is in talks to take control of Marshfield-operated healthcare facilities in Columbus, Waupun, and Horicon.
On Monday, Marshfield Medical Center-Beaver Dam and UW Health went public about a potential transaction. Both systems emphasize the potential benefits of a merger.
Marshfield Clinic took over the former Beaver Dam Community Hospital in 2019.
