(Dodge County) Regional jobless claims saw little movement in the third month of 2025.
The state Department of Workforce Development says the unemployment rate in Dodge County was 3.1-percent in March, a two-tenths of percent improvement from February. Last year, the number was three-percent. Dodge County jumped five spots in the statewide unemployment ranking to ninth.
Fond du Lac County’s March unemployment was 3.2-percent, the month prior it was 3.4-percent. A year ago, it was three-percent.
Columbia County’s month-to-month jobless numbers went from 3.6-percent in February to 3.5-percent. In 2024, the number was 3.1-percent.
Jefferson County’s unemployment rate was a two-tenths of percent improvement, going to 3.2-percent in March. The number last year was 3.1-percent.
Statewide, the unemployment rate 3.2-percent in March.
