(MILWAUKEE) It’s been almost two weeks since historic rains and flooding in southeast Wisconsin, and the Red Cross still needs volunteers. Regional Communications Manager Laura McGuire says the Red Cross is committed to helping southeast Wisconsin flood victims for as long as it takes.
“If it’s a matter of a couple of weeks or a couple of months, we know that this process is going to go on for a while. We are really committed to helping everybody through this process,” McGuire told Daily Dodge.
The Red Cross has provided about 400 overnight stays and 3,000 meals and snacks in Milwaukee since the flood. If you want to volunteer, you can find out more at redcross.org.
