(BEAVER DAM) Today’s forecast high for Beaver Dam is 88 degrees. Weatherology meteorologist Cara Foster says it’s rare for it to be this hot on Oct. 3.
“At least around Madison, they’ve met the record high of 85 for this day three separate times: 1976, 1997, and 2005,” said Foster. “That shows how tough it is to get this warm during this time of year. And also to have multiple days like this.”
Foster says an omega block weather pattern is pulling warm air from the south to our area. Foster says it will start feeling more like fall starting Sunday night.
