(WISCONSIN) State officials are providing flooding information resources after the weekends severe weather. Ready Wisconsin says there are a number of sites available to residents affected by localized flooding.
That includes the Wisconsin Department of Health Services Flood Toolkit, DATCP’s flood resources page, and FEMA’s mitigation for homeowners.
Following a flood, Ready Wisconsin says it is important to stay informed and avoid standing water which can hide dangers including toxins and chemicals. Homeowners affected by the weather are encouraged to inspect their property for damage and use generators outdoors.
