Rasch Introduced As New Waupun Police Chief

(Waupun) Jeremy Rasch was named the full-time police chief for the City of Waupun in February, following the resignation of former police chief Scott Louden. Rasch says that his 22 years of experience in the department has given him a leg up.

“I knew the operations inside and out,” says Rasch. “So, I think I, you know I had that leg up on, you know, being able to take over kinda seamlessly, and I believe I had the respect from the department, the staff, and also the community that we serve.”

Chief Rasch began his career with the city in 2002 as a patrol officer. In 2010, Rasch was promoted to police lieutenant and in 2017 to deputy police chief. During his time with Waupun Police Department, Rasch served on various boards and commissions at the city and county level.
