Randolph Fire Department Celebrating 125th Anniversary

(Randolph) The Randolph Fire Department is inviting the public in celebrating a milestone achievement Saturday. The all-volunteer department is marking its 125th year in existence. Firefighter Jerome Bashynski recently joined WBEVโ€™s Community Comment to explain what visitors can expect throughout the day. Water fights begin at 11am, a pork chop dinner will be served at 4pm and the Driftwood Band will play at 7pm. There will also be a fire safety education trailer, face painting with 50/50 and bucket raffles. Bashynski says there will be pictures and artifacts on display cataloging the departmentโ€™s history. He says that 125th anniversary shirts will also be for sale as well as memorabilia coins. The event will take place at Randolph Park located on Second Street.
