(Beaver Dam) The public is encouraged to attend the Beaver Dam Community Action Plan Open Thursday night. It is being held at the Watermark from 5:30pm to 7pm. The seven Action Plan Sub-Committees will be showcasing their ideas, concepts, and recommendations for the cityโs Comprehensive Plan. During the open house, attendees can view the conceptual ideas and Community Action Plan framework the committee developed and ask questions.
Beaver Dam City Administrator Nathan Thiel says those who have been involved with the sub-committees have put in five months of effort and over 1,000 volunteer project hours.
โTheyโve been showing up every other weekโฆtheyโve been talking in sub-committeesโฆreviewing several topicsโฆand itโs been phenomenal to watch just their enthusiasm and their desire to improve the community.โ
Those interested in going can come and go as they please. The Community Action Plan is set to give their formal presentation at the Beaver Dam High School Auditorium on May 16th.
