“It’s great to see the girls start off so strong and confident tonight. We were able to get off to a great start early, frustrating there go-to outside with our big block  and connecting with Ella both out of the front and back rows. She had 5 kills for us in just the first set, thanks to our solid serve receive and clean play. Badger really battled with us then and we got down early in the third , but I like how we were able to keep our composure and gain a little momentum going late. Something we’ve been talking a lot about. Megan Doherty completed the team effort tonight, coming in and serving our last 3 points with two Aces. We have some great things going for us this season, but it’s going to be all about putting in the work and learning and growing in our challenges.”  -Gosling Coach Erin Steuerwald
