“Up 35-5 at half, the Trojans were able to sub in their bench and get a lot of playing time for the bench. Lailynn White led the way with 19 points, 3 rebounds and 3 steals and a block. She chipped in with 5 assists. Gracie Schmitt added 13 points and 4 rebounds to go with 3 steals. Abby Kast added 12 points and 17 rebounds. Jenna Kreuziger added 10 points 3 rebounds and 4 steals. Brooklyn Borchardt added 5 points 8 rebounds and 3 blocks. Team effort and a building block for the season. We experimented with different lineup combinations in the second half to get the girls used to playing with each other.
Energy was really positive in the first half. Need to improve our focus and discipline to finish games. The Trojans travel to Montello Thursday night. “ – Dodgeland Coach Tim Shramek
