Lourdes 39 Dodgeland 36

“Dodgeland dropped a heartbreaker Tuesday on a last second shot by Lourdes 39-36.

Tied at 17-17 at half, Lourdes extended out to an 8 point lead before the Trojans came back. We had the ball with a minute left, we’re able to get to the free throw line, not once but twice and missed all four shots. We had them where we wanted them, we’re able just did not execute. That was a great high school basketball tonight. Our girls have nothing to hang their heads about. Lourdes inbounded and threw the ball to half court where it was tipped into the hands of a Lourdes player and she made and incredible shot.

Leading the way for Dodgeland was Lailynn White with 10 points 2 steals and 2 assists.

Gracie Schmitt added 8 points and 5 steals.Abby Kast scored 7 points with 10 rebounds.  Dodgeland hosts Oakfield Friday night. 10-8 overall an 4-3 in conference. “ – Dodgeland Coach Tim Shramek
