Tonight was Horicon’s senior night, we hosted Parkview/Albany. The Marshmen got the night rolling with a first period pin by Senior Cayden Reinwald, followed by another pin by Junior Alex Krumholz, before Senior Kevin Wenninger recorded a forfeit. Next, Senior Brady Elvers got a second period pin to keep the dominance going, before Parkview received a forfeit at 220 for their only team points of the night. Senior Shayne Fluhr bumped up to heavyweight to dispatch of his Parkview opponent in the second period with another fall. Freshman Bryce Twardokus received a forfeit at 106. Next was the match of the night by Sophomore Kylee Firari, she was down 11-1 going into the third period, she continued to attack and eventually turned her opponent to get a third period pin! Cylus Hetzel-Sawyer received a forfeit at 120 before Senior Austin Zamorano won a tough battle 8-5 at 126. Senior Brady Groenewold used all 6 minutes to take care of business winning his matchup 4-0 then, Junior Ethan Johnson finished the night off with another fall. Capping off a 60-6 victory for the Marshmen. The Marshmen are back in action this Thursday as they travel to Deerfield. All results are on trackwrestling. – Horicon Wrestling Coach Joe Kern
