Girls Golf
BDHS Sophomore McKenna Nelson shot a 3 over 39 to finish tied for 2nd at the Badger Conference Mini Meet hosted by Milton. Delaney Halverson a senior from Oregon shot a 38 to earn medalist honors.
“I thought McKenna played a smart round of golf. When you play a round in conference it is added to the other rounds that are played in conference. She could have gone after a few shots today but those could also turn into big numbers. She stayed disciplined and is in a good spot heading into the conference tournament. Mia Nortman shot a 54 which included 3 pars. Mia has really worked on her game in the last year. You can see the improvement and she is going to get better and better. Jennifer Bennett shot 56, Kamryn Albert 57 and Lillianne Fister 60. Beaver Dam shot 206 for 7th place. Team wise we need to be a bit better. Realistically we just need to be a bit better to move up in the conference standings.” – BDHS Coach Tim Chase
The conference championship is next Monday at the Oaks.
