Positive Coronavirus Cases Dip But Remain Above Five-Percent

(Dodge County) Wisconsin health officials are reporting 315 cases of COVID-19 in Monday’s daily update. The seven-day average is 427 daily infections. There are 28,058 people now having tested positive. Five-point-three-percent (5.3%) of 5,600 tests administered came back positive Monday, compared to 7.1-percent Sunday. State health officials are reporting 777 deaths. Deaths accounted for three-percent of all cases in Wisconsin while 12-percent of those known to have contracted the virus needed to be hospitalized. Dodge County has five deaths on record and 456 cases, an increase of one from Sunday. The county had 106 negative tests returned yesterday for a running total of 10,254. Public health officials in Dodge County are actively monitoring 27 people while 197 have recovered. Washington County has 15 deaths to date and 358 cases. Fond du Lac County has six deaths on record and 309 positive tests to day. Jefferson County has four deaths and 234 cases. There has been one death in Columbia County where there are 83 positive cases. Green Lake County now has 32 cases.
