(Beaver Dam) A Price County man was charged Wednesday in connection with a 41-mile-long pursuit with Dodge County law enforcement. Aaron Reichenberger of Phillips is facing a felony count of Fleeing. On May 26th, a sheriff’s deputy clocked a white SUV speeding on Highway 151 near the Town of Beaver Dam. The deputy initiated a traffic stop but as he approached the vehicle it sped away. Multiple deputies along with two unites from the Beaver Dam Police Department joined the pursuit as it continued along Highway DE, Highway G, Hickory Point Road, Highway D and State Highway 73. Attempts to law down spike strips were unsuccessful and about 25 minutes after the chase began it was called off. Authorities learned that the vehicle was owned by Enterprise and was allegedly rented to Reichenberger. According to the criminal complaint, Reichenberger had felony warrants in Wisconsin and possibly one out-of-state warrant for Fleeing. If convicted, the 36-year-old faces no more than three-and-a-half-years in prison. An initial appearance is scheduled for July 20th.
