Petitioners Waiting for Musk Money Complain

(MADISON) Several people who signed Elon Musk’s petition to stop “activist judges” last March are still waiting for the $100 they were promised. The Wisconsin Division of Consumer Protection is getting complaints from people who say they signed the petition, but haven’t seen the money they were promised.

During the state Supreme Court election, the Musk-funded America PAC promised $100 for each voter who signed the petition, and another $100 dollars for each signer they referred. Musk also offered $1 million to three voters.

Wisconsin Consumer Protection does not enforce election laws and cannot act on the complaints. America PAC did not respond to the Wisconsin State Journal’s requests for comment.
