Pedestrian Severely Injured In Beaver Dam Hit-And-Run

(Beaver Dam) A pedestrian was severely injured after being struck by a car Tuesday morning in Beaver Dam. Paramedics were dispatched at 5:56am to a hit-and-run at the intersection of Wayland and East Burnett streets.

The 42-year-old was crossing Burnett when he was struck by an eastbound vehicle in the intersection. He was transported to Marshfield Medical Center Beaver Dam before being flown to UW Madison by LifeNet. Police Chief John Kreuziger says the driver and vehicle were later located.

Beaver Dam Police were assisted in the investigation by the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office, Beaver Dam Fire and Paramedics, the Beaver Dam Department of Public Works, the Dodge County Emergency Response Team and the Dodge County Sheriff’s Crash Investigation Team.
