PAVE Seeking Youth Workers For Fellowship Opportunity

(Beaver Dam) A local non-profit is in search for youth workers. PAVE: which stands for Protect, Advocate, Validate, and Educate – and is Dodge County’s only domestic abuse shelter – is offering three-month paid Youth Fellowship opportunities.

The pilot program is designed to mentor youth while performing services that contribute to the safety and success of PAVE’s clients. Members of the junior advocacy group, 111 perform many of the tasks on a volunteer basis and the program seeks to evaluate the use of youth volunteers as paid staff.

Participants can earn a $1,000 stipend, paid out at $9 an hour. Duties will include donation processing, website and socials management, security greeter, and youth programming assistance. Two individuals, aged 14 and up, will be selected to begin the youth fellowship cycle on April 1st.

Those accepted into the program will work 10 hours per week. The application deadline is March 20th.
