(DODGE COUNTY) More than 100 families in Dodge County went home with basic supplies they might otherwise go without.
The Personal Essentials Pantry — a partnership of local churches and community groups — served 103 households during its latest distribution on April 28, the first time it has reached that milestone in a single evening.
The pantry, based at First Lutheran Church in Beaver Dam, provides items like hygiene and personal care products every other month during Loaves & Fishes community meals.
Organizers say the growing turnout reflects a rising need across the area. As more people ask for help, the group is looking to expand — bringing in more volunteers, donations, and partners to keep up with demand.
The next distribution is scheduled for July 14.
Anyone interested in donating or getting involved can contact the pantry directly for more information.
