(Trenton) One person was killed following a single vehicle crash in the town of Trenton over the weekend. Dodge County sheriff’s deputies were called to Highway A and Highway 151, just north of Beaver Dam, around 1:45pm Saturday.
The initial investigation showed that a Ford Escape, operated by a 62-year-old woman from Marshall, was southbound on 151 when her vehicle gradually entered the median. The vehicle then vaulted over the northbound lane of Highway A and struck a concrete barrier resulting in severe front-end damage.
The driver, and lone occupant of the vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene by the Dodge County Medical Examiner. The name of the deceased is being withheld pending notification of family. The crash remains under investigation.
