(Fond du Lac) One person was killed when a vehicle struck a semi near Fond du Lac over the weekend. The crash happened on Highway 175 at Fox Ridge Drive just before 5pm Saturday.
The Wisconsin State Patrol say a semi-tractor was backing into a driveway off 175 when a sedan hit the semi and got pinned under the trailer. The driver of the sedan was pronounced dead at the scene while a passenger was flown by ThedaStar helicopter with critical injuries.
The operator of the semi was not injured. The state patrol says the names of those involved are not being released at this time.
