(Ashippun) An Oconomowoc woman is charged with injuring another motorist in Dodge County while under the influence. Erin Jurich is facing two felony counts of Injury by Intoxicated Use of a Vehicle. According to the criminal, Jurich reportedly ran a stop sign in Ashippun last February and collided with another vehicle. The driver of the other vehicle had to be extricated by fire and EMS personnel. The victim suffered a fractured right ankle, a broken left forearm and three fractured ribs. When authorities questioned Jurich, they allegedly noticed that she had blood shot eyes and slow speech. Jurich reportedly admitted to drinking three alcoholic seltzer beverages’ earlier in the day. A preliminary breath test reportedly returned a reading of point-one-five-five (.155). If convicted, the 42-year-old faces up to 25 years in prison. An initial appearance is scheduled for May 17th.
