(Mayville) Cash bond has been set at $1-million-dollars for a Hartford man accused of assaulting two minors in Dodge County. Adam Rash allegedly assaulted one of the victims, who was eight years old at the time and 18-years-old, over 100 times while he was living in Hustisford. The second victim was allegedly assaulted roughly 20 times when she was between the ages of 14-to-15-years-old. If convicted, the 33-year-old faces up to 265 years in prison. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for this Thursday (September 28th).

(Dodge County) Dodge County Deputies responded to a single car crash Friday afternoon. The incident occurred on State Highway 26 south of Red Cedar Road in the township of Burnett. Initial investigations showed a 39 year old female was operating a 2006 Buick sedan southbound on State Highway 26 when the driver failed to navigate a curve. The vehicle entered the northbound gravel shoulder and the driver lost control, resulting in the vehicle striking a tree. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene by the Dodge County Medical Examinerโ€™s Office.

(Juneau) The Dodge County treasurer is urging residents with unpaid 2020 taxes to get them paid before they face tax foreclosure. Kris Keith says September 1st each year is when the foreclosure process starts in earnest for real estate parcels with three-years-old unpaid taxes. Starting on that date, 2020 taxes can only be paid with certified check, money order, or cash. Keith adds that taxpayers will begin to accrue additional charges for title searches and publication fees. She says that ultimately, early next spring, the county will take property which has unpaid 2020 taxes.

(Beaver Dam) The Swinginโ€™ Beavers Square Dance Club is always looking for new members to join. Beaver Dam Chamber President Tracy Propst says that Bonnie Sweeney is a good person to contact for anyone interested. She adds that they were recently at Beaver Dam Pepper Fest, and says she was amazed. The organization gives square dancing lessons every Thursday at Wilson Elementary School from 6:30pm to 8:30pm.

(Beaver Dam) The Beaver Dam Middle School has been awarded STEM funding through the National Lieutenant Governorโ€™s Association. The school is receiving $500 to support science, technology, engineering, and math programming this year. The money Beaver Dam is getting will support extension activities for the Coding Club. Students will have the opportunity to participate in lessons that apply coding to high-interest areas, such as building code-able robots and drones as well as coding through music.
