(Oak Grove) The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office has made another Internet Crimes Against Children arrest. The investigation originated in the town of Oak Grove after law enforcement received a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. As a result, Alan Douglas of Ripon was booked into the Dodge County Jail and is facing 10 felony counts of Child Porn. The 38-year-old is currently being held on a $3,000 cash bond. 

(Beaver Dam) Your weekend will be one hour shorter than normal. That’s because Daylight Savings time begins at 2am Sunday morning, and we’re all supposed to move our clocks ahead one hour before going to bed Saturday night. Officials with the Beaver Dam Fire Department say while you are changing your clocks for the beginning of Daylight Savings Time, take a few extra minutes to check your smoke and carbon monoxide detectors. They recommend changing the batteries and making sure the detectors work.

(Columbus) The Columbus Council approved a Community Development Investment grant for the historic Tremont Hotel building in downtown Columbus. The building was recently purchased by Dingee Farm owners David Stira and Brian Nagle. They plan to have a total of six apartments on the second and third floors while the first floor will be for commercial use.
