(Dodge County) As the new Beaver Dam Pickleball courts look to be completed in the summer, the local Pickleball committee is looking to grow the game. The rules for Pickleball are extremely comparable to tennis. However, it is more accessible because it has a smaller court, different paddles, and a wiffleball instead of a tennis ball. When serving, the action must be executed underhand. Paddle contact with the ball must be below the serverโs waist. The game is primarily played as doubles, but they can also be played as singles. The ball placement on a hit is more about strategy, as opposed to strength and velocity. For scoring, the games are played to 11 points.
