(Columbus) The Columbus City Council discussed three proposals for the development of the 1400 Park Avenue property, better known as the Dingee Farm, at a recent committee of the whole meeting. Alder Adam Steiner made an initial motion to move the Lamps Landing proposal to the council for a vote that was seconded by Ian Gray. Molly Finkler says she is against that proposal because she is concerned about the developer and that the apartment will fall to disrepair in a few years. Trina Reid says she has no idea why the council thinks the proposal is the only one that would come to the city. After some further discussion and a very contentious 4-to-3 vote, it was decided that the proposal for Lamps Landing LLC would be moved to the next council meeting on April 1st for a vote.
