(Beaver Dam) The Dodge County Concert Association recently received and accepted a $1000 dollar grant from the Beaver Dam Area Community Foundation. The grant is for the associationโs Student Enrichment Program. The program pairs musicians that are performing an evening with Beaver Dam High School music students for an afternoon session of questions and advice on strengthening musical talent, exploring careers in music, and encouraging a lifelong love in music.
(Beaver Dam) The Beaver Dam High School Band will be hosting its second annual mattress fundraiser today, Saturday February 22 from 10am to 4:30PM in the fieldhouse. The bands will be fundraising for their next Disneyworld trip. The purchase of a new mattress supports the music education for the high school band students. The fundraiser has brands such as Simmons Beautyrest, Beautyrest Black and Malouf at a fraction of the normal price. Please consider buying a mattress during this one day fundraiser and support the high school band.

Meggers brings a wealth of knowledge from Cherry Hills Country Club in Denver Colorado where he contributed to maintaining championship level playing conditions. The addition of Meggers aligns with owner Dax Whiteโs vision for elevating the club facilities and playing excellence. (Juneau) The Aging and Disability Resource Center of Dodge County is providing a series of virtual Powerful Tools for Caregivers workshop that can be attended from the comforts of home. The educational workshop is designed to provide people with the tools necessary to take care of a loved one. Classes consist of six one and a half hour sessions held on Tuesdays beginning February 1 and run through April 1 on Zoom from 10:30am to noon. (Columbus) The American Red Cross will be hosting a pair of blood donation events, called blood mobiles, in Columbus on March 3 and 5. On March 3, the event will be taking place at the New Testament Baptist Church from 11:30am to 5:30pm. On March 5, it will be held at Columbus High School from 8:30am to 1:30pm. (Coumbus) The 2025 Odd Food Truck Fest and Craft Show will be taking place on May 10 at Columbus Firemanโs Park. Presented by the Oddfellows Tri-County Lodge #40, there will be a great selection of food trucks, wonderful crafts and cold beverages available from 10am to 6pm.
