(Elba) Authorities have identified those involved in a single-vehicle crash just east of Columbus Monday afternoon. Twenty-year-old Preston Schraufnagel from rural Randolph was heading east on Highway 16/60 in the township of Elba and failed to negotiate a curve, overcorrected, and lost control before overturning. He was transported by ambulance to a level one trauma center with serious injuries. His 21-year-old male passenger, Trent Key of Randolph, sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
