Dodge County Records Fourth Coronavirus Death

(Dodge County) Wisconsin health officials are reporting an increase of 357 cases of COVID-19 in Friday’s daily update. The two-week average is 363 daily infections. There are 20,249 people now having tested positive. Two-point-nine-percent (2.9%) of the nearly 12,000 tests administered came back positive Friday, compared to 4.1-percent Thursday and 2.9-percent Wednesday. State health officials are reporting seven more deaths bringing that total to 633. Deaths accounted for three-percent of all cases in Wisconsin while 14-percent of those known to have contracted the virus needed to be hospitalized. A Dodge County resident was among the seven statewide deaths recorded, the county now has four deaths and 394 positive cases, an increase of eight from Thursday. The county had 146 negative tests returned for a running total of 5,533. Public health officials in Dodge County are actively monitoring 47 people while 123 individuals have recovered. Washington County has nine deaths on record and 272 positive tests. Fond du Lac County has five deaths being reported and 226 people having tested positive. Jefferson County has reported three deaths and has a total 122 cases. There has been one death in Columbia County and 44 positive cases. Green Lake County has 22 cases.
