Beaver Dam High School sophomore McKenna Nelson finished runner-up at the Brookfield Central/Menomonee Falls Invite as the two day event wrapped up on Tuesday at Wanaki Golf Course. After sharing the first round lead, Nelson fell on the 2nd playoff hole to Brookfield Central’s Payton Haugen. Both players were tied at one-under par after shooting even par rounds on Monday. Lillianne Fister carded a 114, Kamryn Albert 119, and Jennifer Bennett a 122 for BDHS. The Golden Beavers head to Oak Ridge Golf Course in Milton on Thursday.
