(Watertown) One person was killed in a motorcycle accident Wednesday afternoon near Watertown. The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office says the operator of the bike was found near the machine in a cattail marsh along County Road R at Smith Road in the Town of Lebanon. When responders arrived on scene around 2pm, they found only the deceased male; there were apparently no other passengers on the motorcycle. Investigators say that evidence indicates that the cycle was northbound on County R when he failed to negotiate a curve, entered the ditch and was ejected from the bike. The name of the victim is being withheld pending notification of family.
