(Beaver Dam) Marshfield Medical Center – Beaver Dam will transition management of the Kids Care center to the YMCA of Dodge County. Under the services agreement, which will go into effect on May 1st, the YMCA will oversee Kids Care operations while the hospital will maintain ownership.
Marshfield Medical Center – Beaver Dam President Angelia Foster says they understand how critically important high-quality child care is to a healthy community. She adds that their expertise is in health care, and by partnering with a trusted community leader in the YMCA they are able to leverage the expertise they have in managing quality child care.
As part of the operational transition, Kids Care staff will become employees of YMCA of Dodge County.
The organization’s Chief Executive Officer Dirk Langfoss says the Kids Care staff are well regarded throughout the community for the compassionate care they provide area children and they happily welcome them to their team.
The Kids Care center is located at 1200 North Center Street in Beaver Dam.
