(Beaver Dam) Marshfield Medical Center – Beaver Dam is expanding its orthopedic offerings. The hospital recently announced that it has entered into a professional services agreement with Orthopedic and Spine Centers of Wisconsin.
The Centers orthopedic surgeons will dedicate time every week practicing at Beaver Dam’s on-campus clinic and surgical suites. Eight of their orthopedic surgeons have already been credentialed, with more expected soon, and their first surgery at the facility is set for later this month.
Their specialized areas of expertise include orthopedics, upper-extremity, foot and ankle, sports medicine, as well as joint replacement.
Marshfield Medical Center – Beaver Dam’s President Angelia Foster says this is an incredible win for the community. She adds that ensuring access to expert subspecialty orthopedic care, close to home, is one of their top priorities.
In addition to delivering specialized clinical and surgical care, Orthopedic and Spine Centers of Wisconsin physicians will provide expert on-call coverage for orthopedic injuries and other urgent matters that present in the Beaver Dam hospital’s Emergency Department.
