(Beaver Dam) The Miss Wisconsin winner from Beaver Dam took home a couple top preliminary finishes during the first day of competition at Miss America. Mandi Genord was named Preliminary Fitness winner and American Heart Association regional winner.
The talent prelim is Thursday night with the Miss America Finals taking place on Sunday. Genord, who recently graduated from the University of Alabama, also served as Miss Wisconsin’s Teen in 2018.
