(Clyman) A Milwaukee woman entered a guilty plea Wednesday to misdemeanor prostitution charges. Shirley Quinn was arrested in September at the Hardware Store in the Village of Clyman. Sheriff Dale Schmidt was in full uniform while conducting a routine bar check at the establishment on Main Street when he caught Quinn in the act. According to the criminal complaint, the 25-year-old Quinn had a deer-in-headlights-look when Schmidt confronted her and a patron in a private room. They denied any sexual act was going on between them. When interviewed individually, Quinn told Schmidt that she was not making any money at the strip club and when asked to “do a little extra” for $100 dollars she agreed. Quinn was ordered to pay a $250 fine along with court costs. The other suspect, 64-year-old Joseph Brown of Columbus, will be back in court on the misdemeanor prostitution charges next month.
