(Fond du Lac) A local business has been making an annual impact in the area according to a study. Mercury Marine, a division of Brunswick Corporation headquartered in Fond du Lac, has been making a $5.4-million-dollar impact annually, an increase of nearly 10-percent from three years ago.
The company continues to be one of the top employers in Wisconsin with more than 4,200 employees working at their headquarters, an increase of 15-percent from 2020. In addition, Mercury has a total impact of 10,500 jobs in the community.
Officials with the company say that they are proud to have called Fond du Lac home for 80 years and are committed to remain a catalyst for economic growth in the community for years to come.
