Mayville Man Given Prison Time For Repeatedly Assaulting A Minor

(Mayville) A Mayville man has been sentenced to 16 years in prison for repeatedly assaulting a minor. In April, Nicolas Selerski entered a guilty plea to a felony count of Repeated Sexual Assault of the Same Child. The victim’s mother called police last June to report that her preteen daughter was assaulted by Selerski. The victim said Selerski would have her inappropriately touch him on numerous occasions between May and June. When questioned, Selerski at first denied anything had happened but admitted later that the touches were accidental. The 33-year-old was also placed on extended supervision for five years.
