(Mayville) Officials in Mayville will soon have to find a new leader for one of its key departments. Fire Chief Brad Marx recently announced that he is resigning from the post. Mayor Rob Boelk says Marx will be missed.
โHeโs been the fire chief for over a decade and itโs sad to see him goโฆheโs done a lot of work for our fire department and I know the guys down there respect him and what he doesโฆheโs going to be sadly missed,โ says Boelk. โHis resignation will be effective on July 10th.โ
Boelk says the cityโs Police and Fire Commission have been notified and will soon start the search for a new fire chief.
