Mayville Engineering Company Reaches Agreement To Acquire Mid-States Aluminum

(Mayville) Mayville Engineering Company has reached a definitive agreement to acquire privately held Mid-States Aluminum Corporation. It will cost the company approximately $96-million-dollars. The proposed acquisition is expected to close during the third quarter of this year.

For nearly 60 years Mid-States has served major original equipment manufacturers in the building, construction, recreational, medical, agriculture, transportation, and other diverse end markets. Mid-States operate two state-of-the-art facilities, both in Fond du Lac that include approximately 325,000 square-feet of manufacturing space.

Mayville Engineering Company President and Chief Executive Officer Jag Reddy says Mid-States is an established provider of aluminum extrusions and they are excited to welcome their 250 employees to the MEC family.

Mayville Engineering Company was founded in 1945. Along with process engineering and development services, MEC maintains an extensive manufacturing infrastructure with 20 facilities across seven states. In Wisconsin, Mayville Engineering has facilities in Mayville, Beaver Dam, Wautoma, and Neillsville. ย
