MAYVILLE – A Mayville High School band took its music to a Summerfest stage as part of the 2026 Rockonsin State Finals.
The Danios was one of 10 statewide finalists in this year’s youth garageband competition. The band performed a 20-minute showcase on Friday, June 19 on the Aurora Pavilion Stage at Summerfest.
According to Rockonsin, the finalists were selected from bands representing 54 Wisconsin high schools and middle schools. The competition is designed for Wisconsin students in seventh through 12th grade and accepts bands of any musical genre.
The Danios are a self-funded band. The band is slated to play during intermission at Rock and Boom in Mayville.
