Mary Ann Jensen, 87, of Mayville, and formerly of Waupun, died on August 12,2024.
She was born December 8, 1936 in Fond du lac, the daughter of John and Helen (Damask) Liner. She graduated from Waupun High School. Mary Ann married James C. Jensen on May 17, 1958 in Waupun, where they lived for 50 years. She graduated from St. Mary’s Hospital School of Nursing in Madison as a Registered Nurse. Mary Ann was employed by Mendota State Hospital, Waupun Memorial Hospital, Central State Hospital, and Dodge Correctional Institute. She enjoyed her flower gardens and cheering on the Badgers, Packers, and Brewers.
Mary Ann is survived by her son Jim Jensen of Waupun, daughter Kathy (Joe) Donnery of Saranac, NY, grandchildren Bailey Jensen, Mark Donnery, and Lisa Donnery, great-grandchildren Bryant and Daelyn, sisters-in-law Karen (Phil) Knudsvig, Ruth Nelson, Louise Beck, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
A private burial will take place at Calvary Cemetery in Waupun. Memorials may be directed to St. Joseph Church in Waupun, A special thank you to Crossroads Care Center of
