(Beaver Dam) Last week, Marshfield Medical Center-Beaver Dam helped raise over $3,000 for the family of Shannon Neu.
Shannon Neu was a registered nurse who spent 16 years working at Marshfield Medical Center-Beaver Dam. The fundraising efforts took place between Wednesday and Saturday, May 18 as part of National Hospital Week. The week ended with the hospital’s “Safety First Fair,” featuring MMC-BD service lines and community organizations. 95.3 WBEV’s Brat Fry was also present at the fair, with all proceeds going towards the Neu family. Marshfield Medical Center-Beaver Dam raised $1,539, with the WBEV Brat Fry raising an additional $1,950. On top of this fundraising, there has also been a GoFundMe set up for the Neu family, with all donations being funneled directly to the family.
Over $5,000 has been raised in the GoFundMe since its creation on May 14th. A link to the GoFundMe can be found HERE.
