(Madison) One man was arrested after fleeing law enforcement at a high rate of speed early Thursday morning. Just after midnight, a Columbia County Sheriff’s deputy initiated a traffic stop on County A in the town of Otsego, which caused the suspect to flee at speeds around 128 miles per hour. The deputy was able to identify the vehicle’s license plates and terminated the pursuit. The Madison Police Department responded to the registered address and arrested the owner as they pulled into the driveway. 37-year-old Gregory Wylesky of Madison was arrested and faces charges of; Felony Flee and Elude; Second Degree Reckless Endangering and Violation of Probation. He will also be receiving several traffic citations for his driving infractions.
