Marshall High School honored junior Anna Lutz for becoming the team’s all-time leading scorer before Tuesday night’s 75-44 win over New Glarus. Lutz broke the record in a win at Belleville on January 31st. Anna surpassed the previous mark of 1,273 points that was held by 2016 MHS alum and current UW-Eau Claire forward Kelsey Bakken. After Tuesday night’s 34 point effort, Lutz currently has 1,335 points. She is averaging 23 points per game this season for the Cardinals, who have won the last two WIAA Division Two state girls basketball championships. Lutz has verbally committed to play college basketball at UW-Milwaukee.
