The top-seeded Lions are making their third state tournament appearance and their first since 2021. Lomira reached the Division 3 state semifinals in both 2015 and 2021 but was unable to advance to the championship game. Fourth-seeded Spooner is making its first-ever appearance at the state softball tournament.
The other Division 3 semifinal will feature No. 2 seed New Holstein against No. 3 seed Lodi at 2 p.m. this afternoon.  The Division Three State Championship is set for 1pm on Saturday.
