Thursday Night in The Badgerland…

Fond du Lac 1 Beaver Dam 0

It was another hard luck loss for Beaver Dam as they travel to Fond du Lac and drive home with a 1-0 defeat.  Fondy’s Jullian Murillo’s RBI single in the bottom of the 5th accounted for the games only run as pitching reigned supreme.  Beaver Dam loaded the bases with just one out in the top of the 6th but wasn’t able to plate the tying run.  Fond du Lac’s Jake Cedar and Luke Bruckner combined to strike out eight BD batters and give up just two hits.  Cedar went five and a third to notch the win, with Bruckner being credited with the save.  Beaver Dam’s Braden Franke was brilliant striking out a pair and giving up just that one run and five hits in six innings but came up on the short end of the decision.  Fondy improves to 12-2 on the year while Beaver Dam drops to 5-5.  Fond du Lac will host Ripon on Friday night while Beaver Dam travels to Hartford on Sunday afternoon.  The first pitch is set for 3pm.  You can watch the video stream at DailyDodge.com presented by Kevin Carnine, Your American Family Insurance Agent and Columbus Family Dental.
